On Dreaming...

Sometimes my dreams get too big and out of control. Like the time I dreamed of having a Christmas Showcase. I really wanted to write about people who love Christmas. And I especially wanted to tell you all about the house in my neighborhood that is decked out with an entire Nemo theme. I'm serious. This house has wooden Nemo characters all over the front lawn and the yard is even outlined in blue lights, as if the characters are actually in the ocean. I wanted to post pictures. Because it is totally wackadoodle. BUT guess what I forgot? That it's Christmas time. (Hello!) Which means life is a little crazy. I haven't even started my shopping yet. Seriously, I haven't purchased anything. And Chooch turns 4 this week. And I wanted to make neighbor gifts. And I definitely want to make some Christmas candies. And, most importantly, I love to procrastinate.
So, here's to next year... Cheers!

Yeah! I feel so much better knowing that someone else hasn't started shopping yet either! I too have high hopes to make wonderful Christmas presents and neighbor gifts, yet absolutely no time. The part of the Christmas showcase that you did share was great!

We want to come see Clark's hard work on decorating your house and visit you guys! I'll give you a call!

Yep, I'm right there with you. This is pretty much the story of my life, the procrastination. Oh well, I'll worry about it later.

I think we all have big plans for Christmas time. But we forget about the time! Next year, we always have next year.

Your kids lists are great, I wish I would have kept my kids lists, it would be so fun to go back and read them now. And I went to your recipe blog and made your toffee last night. You made it sound so easy, and it is awesome! My family loves it, so thanks for sharing!!!
