You describe things so perfectly! He's still cute even when he's pouting.
I don't know if it is really because he is a middle child...but Charlie reminds me of stories of Will when he was young. My mom threw and broke a glass one night after many failed attempts of getting Will's drink of water in the right glass.
But I guess I hate bowling too, except for when I love it.
